Hello Home Haunters,

I just wanted to take a moment and explain the highly noticeable and completely uncalled for lack of updates to this site. Rather than drone on endlessly with excuses that I should save for a therapist, I'll give you the short three-part answer.

First, sometimes life gets complicated. Part-time jobs turn to full-time jobs. Apartment living becomes home ownership. And no matter what, family health and happiness always comes first before Halloween holiday insanity.

Second, in conjunction with the above statements, my time seems to be in much more demand than it used to be, and because of this, my Halloween projects and website have suffered. I'm not happy lately with how the props are turning out, and I'm finding it hard to update the old stuff that is looking worn & tired. I've gotten past the point of just being happy with how the projects turn out: I want them to really stand out and have some style. I know I'm capable of doing better, and I need time to regroup my efforts.

Lastly, I'm just kind of tired. Halloween's been hectic since this site began, and I'm enjoying just putting out a few decorations, watching a scary movie, and eating a buttload of candy.

So that's it. Thanks so much for all the emails and positive comments-I'm sorry if I haven't responded, please don't take it personally. The site as it is will remain up for reference, plus we do have a few shots that turned up from 2003. Until I get off my lazy butt and refocus my efforts please keep celebrating our favorite holiday.
